Dear colleagues and friends

It is indeed our honour to welcome delegates once again to Kuala Lumpur for the CINP Regional Meeting in 2011. I am sure, like me, most of my colleagues look forward to CINP meetings which bring together a sophisticated blend of current scientific knowledge and experienced and young researchers exchanging ideas and promotimng scientific discourse.

Kuala Lumpur is well placed to provide the setting of a truly international meeting. Psychiatry in Malaysia is seeing new frontiers with the implementation of a new Mental Health Act. Kuala Lumpur is a city of diversities of cultures of societies. We have excellent gourmet foods and not-to-be-missed hawker fares that must be tried to enjoy all that the city has to offer. The capital is modern, vibrant with several modern and historical sites that must be enjoyed. For nature lovers, the rainforest is just minutes away.

We welcome you to Kuala Lumpur in 2011.

Dr. Abdul Kadir Abu Bakar
President
Malaysian Psychiatric Association (2010-2012)

On behalf of the Pacific Asia Regional CINP Organising Committee I extend to you a warm invitation to join us in Kuala Lumpur for the 5th Pacific-Asia Regional Meeting of the Collegium Internationale Neuro-psychopharmacologicum (CINP) in June 2011.

The beauty of a regional CINP meeting is that every aspect of neuro-psychiatric disorders can be addressed, from the basic sciences, neurosciences, psychopharmacology and clinical psychiatry.

You will appreciate these meetings take some time to organize and develop. We will ensure you a high quality programme with a good balance of basic and clinical sciences. We have assembled a significant list of international speakers. We are sure you will enjoy this meeting.
